AudioEye wanted to bring about an improvement in the quality of life for those with disabilities such as the learning-disabled, visually impaired and elderly by providing them an opportunity to experience the web.


AudioEye's patent-pending software unites speech technologies that can verbalize computer text with digital streaming media infrastructure.  Digital Avenues went on to build the media creation/content management software that allows website owners to render Internet sites in completely audio format, combining different types of media files into one formatted navigation system.  This implied that using our rich Flash based interface, users could navigate through websites using only the arrow keys and the Enter key on a standard keyboard.



For sites that update content frequently, there is no need for an administrator to update the audio files manually.  The engine that we developed has the capability to detect changes to the site, extract the pages in which the content has been changed (including addition of new pages) and automatically convert this textual data into audio files and transfer it to a multimedia optimized server for an enhanced user experience.  The system also allows users to fill forms as well as having the capability to intelligently read tables and charts.


Content owners, including business, government, non-profit, news and entertainment sites, can convert, maintain, and deliver all the elements found on their text-based site in streaming audio navigation format, including menus, text, images, and rich media content.  The result is a fully accessible site that can be easily implemented, regardless of platform and without any costly and limiting redesign of a current text-based site.

In addition, all AudioEye-enabled sites are placed in the “Surf by Sound” community portal which serves as a one-stop show for audio-enabled websites attracting new end-users to your web site.
