An enterprise research operations platform replacing spreadsheets with one system of record for Beesy.
Overview
Kronos is an enterprise market research operations platform developed for Beesy, enabling research teams to manage the complete lifecycle of qualitative research projects — from planning and recruitment to interview scheduling, field operations, analytics, and AI-ready data integration.
The Challenge
Managing hundreds of qualitative research studies required replacing fragmented spreadsheets, emails, and disconnected tools with a centralized, scalable platform supporting scheduling, automation, analytics, security, and global collaboration.
Our Solution
Digital Avenues designed and engineered Kronos as a modular enterprise platform, combining project management, recruitment, scheduling, analytics, notifications, and third-party integrations into a single operational workspace — replacing the spreadsheet-and-email workflow entirely with one system of record.

Platform Highlights
- Project Lifecycle Management — plan, launch, and track studies end-to-end in one workspace
- Interview Scheduling & Calendar Management — moderator availability, utilization, and daily scheduling views, with Zoom-linked interviews
- Recruitment & Quota Management — quota groups and conflict monitoring across active projects
- Analytics & Operational Intelligence — dashboards for utilization, recruitment funnels, and project performance
- Workflow Automation — task and notification automation via integrations like ClickUp
- SPINE Integration — a purpose-built adapter layer connecting Kronos to the SPINE sample/data standard, so research data flows into downstream systems without manual re-entry
- AI-Ready Research Integration — data modeled and exposed through clean, structured APIs so downstream analytics and AI tooling can consume it without custom ETL work
Engineering Excellence
Modular, role-based architecture (RBAC) across the platform; REST APIs connecting the Angular frontend, .NET backend, and SQL Server data layer; automated Jenkins pipelines per environment (dev, QA, UAT, prod); and third-party integrations (ClickUp, Zoom, AWS SES, SPINE) built as isolated, swappable modules rather than hardcoded dependencies.
Our Contribution
Digital Avenues owned this end-to-end: product architecture, frontend and backend development, database engineering, cloud infrastructure setup, CI/CD pipeline design, test automation, third-party integrations, deployment, and ongoing optimization.
Business Impact
- Consolidated a fragmented mix of spreadsheets, emails, and point tools into a single operational platform covering the full research lifecycle
- Gave research operations teams, moderators, and field agencies a shared, real-time view of scheduling and utilization instead of siloed, manually-reconciled data
- Automated recurring coordination work (scheduling, quota tracking, task handoffs) that previously relied on manual follow-up
- Structured research data for direct consumption by analytics and AI tooling, removing the need for one-off export/import work
- Built on a modular, RBAC-secured architecture designed to scale as study volume and team size grow
